Lessons
Vocal instruction is available to persons age 12 through adult. Young persons under
the age of 12 are evaluated on a case by case basis.
Lessons are taught in what is called a Module. The Fall Module runs from September
through January and guarantees 18 lessons; the Spring Module from February through
June and guarantees 18 lessons; the Summer Module from July through August and
guarantees 7 lessons. All Modules have scheduled holidays. Makeup lessons are
available if the student or teacher has an unexpected need to cancel.
Although lesson fees are paid monthly, individual lessons fees are $32 for 30 minutes,
$45 for 45 minutes, and $50 for 55-60 minutes. The final pricing will be discussed in
person and is not necessarily based on the price per lesson.
Classes in basic piano and music theory are recommended for the serious singer. This
enables the student to become a more well-rounded musician which is to his/her
benefit. A Music Theory workbook can be purchased or the student may log onto the
website www.teoria.com for online training. For more information and for an entire

In the Piano Division, beginning piano students can start as early as age 5 and usually
take a 20-30 minute lesson. Music theory is taught as they learn to play. Students
can participate in a yearly recital as soon as they can play reasonably well. Again,
